Who was Ricki Lake’s husband?
Well, well, well, if it isn’t Christian Evans, the second husband of the fabulous Ricki Lake. He was an American actor, television presenter, and producer, but most importantly, he was married to Ricki for almost three years. Unfortunately, the couple got divorced in 2015 due to Evans’ bipolar disorder and his manic episodes.
Before his death, Evans worked on a movement to help homeless people in Los Angeles. What a guy!
Sadly, Evans took his own life, and Lake opened up about it in an emotional announcement. There isn’t much information about his early life, but we do know that he was a jewelry designer during his time on this earth.

Lake told PEOPLE that her ex-husband did not want to openly admit to having bipolar disorder, but in his suicide note admitted that he had been suffering with the mental disorder. According to Lake she believed that was him giving her permission to “tell his story”.
