Sonya Curry

Running the gauntlet for Warrior Steph, Sonya Curry came out fighting recently, slamming back against jeering Raptor’s fans. Looking super stylish and completely in control at the Oracle Arena, she hit out at the drunk-on-success fans for their recent disrespect of the women in her boy’s life, which has focused lately on Ayesha.

Growing up in a deprived African-American community in Radford, Virginia, she knows how to fight back against blatant racism as her family took center stage for the NBA’s final game. Looking strong and stylish in a draped black leather jacket, her hair was, as usual, worn long, and as the family posed for paps, she fronted out the disrespectful fans, showing all the dignity of a proud mother.

Often shunning the traditional red carpet celeb functions, the gorgeous momma Curry appears to prefer the super casual look. We’re used to seeing her in locker room style, sporting either Blazers and Warriors badges, but always combined with accents of glitz and glamor. Her recent NBA outing saw her in boot cuts, Blazer’s sweater, and her trademark strappy, stunningly sexy heels – the height of chic and sporty.

Never one to follow a trend, Sonya walks her own path as she always has done, and heels are her thing. We’ve seen her in transparent, laced stilettoes, a super hot sapphire blue pair, and who can forget her cuter-than-cute grey furry 5’’ number. Her son, meanwhile, is promoting his Curry line of sneakers, which, in celebration of International Women’s Day, has recently brought out the Under Armour Icon Curry 5 in women’s and girl’s sizes. About time that the NBA caught up with us women!

Kristina Sunshine Jung

Daughter of an infamous drug baron, George Jung, Kristina Sunshine Jung hit the limelight after the Oscar-nominated biopic Blow was released in 2001. The story of her father, with Johnny Depp as George and Emma Roberts as Kristina, it highlighted the acrimonious split between the pair. It has to be said that Kristina was originally cast to play herself, which she did sublimely well – as you’d expect, however, these scenes, sadly, ended their lives on the cutting room floor.

Father and daughter have since mended their relationship after George’s release from prison in 2014, and for several years now have had their own clothing brand – BG Apparel and Merchandise, which she successfully promotes whilst keeping herself as low key as possible.

Describing herself as a writer and poetess, Kristina’s style is decidedly girlie with more than a nod to boho chic. With her gorgeous blonde hair usually worn loose, she is deliciously natural. Pretty flowery blouses or black round neck tees over tight blue jeans are her go-to, stylishly accessorized with subtle touches of classic jewelry, and minimal make-up.

Moving forward, Kristina is set to build her clothing range even higher, designing more pieces and pushing more promotions. Currently, she is working on a book about her mother, telling Mirtha’s story; however, we aren’t likely to see Kristina anytime soon as she keeps out of the glare of the spotlight.

Abigail Hawk

American actress Abigail Hawk is known for her roles in Blue Bloods, Almost Paris, and Law & Order, amongst others.

Blonde, blue-eyed, and supremely stunning, Abigail favors the classic styles, always appearing elegantly dressed. With timeless beauty, she plays to her strengths. Standing a tall 5’9’’, her feet are always adorned with glamorous heels, increasing her air of statuesque glamor.

At the 2019 ADAPT Community Network Leadership Awards, Abigail wore a simply stunning floor-length shimmering gold silk kimono wrap, decorated with scattered appliqué flowers, and her shoulder-length hair loose and freestyled. Emphasizing just how graceful and elegant a woman she is, I can guarantee we’ll be seeing more of this talented actress this year.
