Kanye Omari West famously known as Kanye West is an American singer, rapper, record producer, songwriter, fashion designer, and businessman. He is a very influential man popular for his music, hip hop, and general culture. Kanye West was born in Atlanta but he was raised in Chicago.
The first album of West was released in 2004 entitled The College Dropout. He then founded GOOD Music following his commercial and critical success in the music industry. Other than music, West also ventured into the business and fashion industry. In 2009, Nike and West collaborated on the release of the rapper’s very own shoe style, the Air Yeezys. The second version was launched in 2012.
West also founded the company KW Foods LLC and plans to open 10 Fatburger restaurants throughout Chicago. Adding to his list of businesses is DONDA, a creative content company that was named after Donda West, his late mother.
